It assists insulin function, increases fertility, carbohydrate/fat metabolism, essential for fetal growth/development.
 
Where it’s found:
supplementation, brewer’s yeast, whole grains, seafood, green beans, broccoli, prunes, nuts, potatoes and meat.
 
It’s deficiency can cause:
Metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance, and decreased fertility.
